Sarah Crippen

Sarah is a seasoned civil trial lawyer whose practice has been focused primarily on labor and employment law.  An MSBA Labor and Employment Specialist, she has successfully represented clients in a wide variety of industries in labor and employment disputes, including trial work; representation before state and federal agencies such as the Equal Employment Opportunity Commission, the Minnesota Human Rights Department, the National Labor Relations Board, and the state and federal Departments of Labor; negotiation of collective bargaining agreements; and representation in union grievance disputes.  She is also a trusted advisor to clients, providing advice, counseling, and training regarding employment policies and practices, contracts, and decision-making.

Sarah’s practice includes deep experience in civil litigation more generally, handling litigation and arbitration of insurance and contract disputes, fraud claims, and related business disputes.

Sarah also has an extensive practice in employment and related investigations.  She has performed investigations for both public and private organizations, including Fortune 100 companies, and her practice includes highly sensitive investigations of employment and ethics concerns such as discrimination and harassment complaints, violations of codes of conduct, and other alleged policy and legal violations.

Drawing on her years of experience as an advocate in hundreds of mediations, Sarah also acts as a mediator in civil litigation matters.  She is a Minnesota Rule 14 qualified neutral and enjoys using her employment and litigation knowledge and experience to bring parties together to resolve their disputes.
