Cari Brunkow

Cari Brunkow roots her legal practice in collaboration and teamwork. Her approach involves working closely with clients to fully understand their unique challenges, identifying tailored solutions, and relentlessly pursuing the implementation of those solutions to achieve our clients’ objectives. With a background in large-scale litigation and arbitration, Cari has represented a diverse range of clients, from small businesses to Fortune 500 companies.

In October 2019, Cari transitioned from private practice to the Civil Division of the Hennepin County Attorney’s Office, where she had the privilege of supporting Hennepin County’s public-assistance programs and Hennepin County Medical Center, as well as serving as General Counsel to North Point Health and Wellness Clinic. Little did she and her clients know that the global pandemic would present unprecedented legal challenges, demanding creativity, partnership, and communication—four years of collective dedication in the trenches. Cari takes pride in having contributed to Hennepin County’s nationally recognized pandemic response.

Cari is excited to call Forsgren Fisher her new professional home, where she collaborates with like-minded lawyers who share her passion for vigorously advocating for client interests and delivering results.

Cari holds a Juris Doctorate from Georgetown University Law Center and completed her undergraduate degree at Barnard College of Columbia University. Before embarking on her legal career, Cari had the distinct honor of clerking for the Honorable Franklin L. Noel in the U.S. District Court for the District of Minnesota. She credits Judge Noel’s mentorship for shaping her approach in her legal practice.
