We’re excited to announce that eight Forsgren Fisher lawyers have been named to the 2025 Minnesota Super Lawyers and Rising Stars lists—an honor that reflects both individual excellence and the collaborative spirit of our team.

Four of our Minnesota-based partners—Matt Forsgren, Bob Gilbertson, Dan Tysver, and David Wallace-Jackson—have been named 2025 Super Lawyers, with Matt Forsgren once again earning additional distinction as one of the Top 100 lawyers in the state.

Our 2025 Rising Stars are Cari Brunkow, Jackson Evert, Caitlinrose Fisher, and Virginia McCalmont. This marks Jackson’s first year on the Rising Stars list—an exciting milestone for a lawyer who has been with the firm since our earliest days.

“Like anyone, we enjoy receiving positive feedback, and we’re especially glad for Jackson to be recognized for the first time,” said managing partner Bob Gilbertson. “But it all goes back to our clients and the folks who refer clients to us. They’re the ones who give us the opportunity to ply our craft and achieve results,” he added.

Super Lawyers is a state-by-state rating service that recognizes lawyers who have attained a high degree of peer recognition and professional achievement.  Ratings are based on peer nominations, independent research, and third-party feedback and evaluations are conducted across 13 categories, including case results, representative clients, and pro bono/community service.  Super Lawyers recognition is limited to no more than 5% of attorneys in a state, while Rising Star recognition is reserved for no more than 2.5% of a state’s attorneys under age 40 and in the first 10 years of practice.
